Our Nondiscrimination Policy:

It is the policy and commitment of Gifted Learning Center~North Shore that it does not discriminate on the basis of race, age, color, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, physical or mental disability, or religion.

Any employee, board member, volunteer or client who believes that s/he or any other affiliate of GLC~NS has been discriminated against is strongly encouraged to report this concern promptly to the Head of School or Chair of the Board of Directors.

Discriminatory Harassment

Harassment or intimidation of a student, staff person or guest because of that person’s race, age, color, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, physical or mental disability, or religion is specifically prohibited and may be grounds for termination. Harassment and intimidation include abusive, foul or threatening language or behavior. GLC~NS is committed to maintaining a school that is free of any such harassment and will not tolerate discrimination against staff members, students, or family members.

Issues of discriminatory treatment, harassment, or intimidation on any of these bases should immediately be reported to the Head of School or Chair of the Board of Directors and, if substantiated, prompt action will be taken.

 

The Center supports gifted and profoundly gifted students in many ways, including as a summer program, an adjunct to families who home school, as an after school resource for students, or as a summer program.

Highly customized social emotional support in an intellectually stimulating environment with flexible 90 minute sessions from 12:45 pm to 6:00 pm, M– F
