Dr. Noriko Martinez

Dr. Martinez is a psychotherapist working with children and adults, integrating mindfulness with both cognitive and psychodynamic methods. She is also a supervisor, consultant, and speaker, and a lecturer at Loyola University Chicago School of Social Work. In her previous work as a school social worker as well as in her work as a therapist, she has had many experiences of discovering remarkable minds that were not being cultivated to meet their full potential. She joined with Dr. Glader in founding the GLC-NS based on the belief that a traditional school environment does not cultivate these children's growth

The Center supports gifted and profoundly gifted students in many ways, including as a summer program, an adjunct to families who home school, as an after school resource for students, or as a summer program.
